Pre-insulated duct are one of today’s technologies for air transfer and in some conditions and places, they can be used as an alternative to galvanized channels for air conditioning. The material of these channels is 20mm thick foam, and they are produced in two types, PIR and phenolic, both of which have polyurethane bases, and a thin layer of aluminum covers both sides. The difference between phenolic type and PIR is that phenolic is more heat resistant than PIR.
Polyurethane channel (PU: Polyurethane) for air conditioning and split duct systems is very effective to optimize the efficiency of these systems.
